This series consists of only the Northern Territory reports from the aerial, geological and geophysical survey of Northern Australia (AGGSNA). AGGSNA was jointly sponsored by the Commonwealth, Queensland and Western Australian governments. Northern Territory reports 1, 2, 7&8, 9&10, 11&12, 13&14 and 38 have been duplicated in NTRS 1549_P1. From 1935-1941 AGGSNA conducted the first systematic geological and geophysical surveys across Northern Australia with the brief to investigate the mineral possibilities of the less known and less accessible parts of Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Queensland. Many of the Northern Territory mineral deposits identified in this survey proceeded to fully developed mining operations and further geological mapping can be found in NTRS 1546. Each report has a list of publications from the survey as the back cover page.
